Youth Bowl Canada’s 2015 National Championships were held in early May. The 51st Annual YBC Nationals saw over 1500 bowlers and families converge on Oshawa and Toronto, as the bowling communities in the two cities hosted Canada’s youth elite in the sport.
Both fivepin and tenpin competition was held, with 20 events spread out over 3 bowling centres. NEB’s Funworld in Oshawa has 48 lanes going non-stop as it hosted the Fivepin scratch team events (all divisions; Bantams, Juniors and Seniors, in both boys and girls fields). Kennedy Bowl in Toronto hosted the Tenpin community as it had 16 lanes rocking with both Singles competition as well as a Combo Team event. And Fivepin Singles competed at Parkway Bowl in Toronto.
All told, 318 bowlers, 90 coaches, hundreds of family members and bowling enthusiasts enjoyed the YBC Nationals, and we thank our hosts in SOUTHERN ONTARIO for their efforts in hosting the event and making everyone feel welcome.
LOOKING FORWARD TO NATIONALS IN CALGARY…MAY, 2016!!!!!!
